This section of the N1 was upgraded by adding truck/climbing lanes to ensure better passing of heavy vehicles as you approach Lainsburg from the Northern side. The intersection was also upgraded with turning lanes added to ensure easy access to the fuel station and other minor roads without traffic congestion.
